Dear Parents /Guardians,
We thank God for the successful completion of the Second term in spite of the uncertainties that
pervaded the political and socio-economic landscape of the country. Sincere appreciation also goes to our esteemed parents and guardians. Thanks for your unflinching support throughout this term. We were able to achieve huge success due to your cooperation and dedication to the progress of the school.
Kindly take note of the following:
- VACATION AND RESUMPTION: The school officially vacates today, 1st of April, 2026 to resume studies on 27th of April, 2026, for third term.
- RECOMMENDED UNIFORM AND FOOTWEAR: Students are to be appropriately dressed. The uniform should be bought in the school; adjustment and slim fitting is not allowed. The acceptable wear on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays is black covered shoes.
On Wednesdays, we allow either black or white canvas, tennis, sneakers or trainers with white socks.
Please note that multi-colored shoes or socks and ankle socks is not allowed. - PUNCTUALITY: Parents are to ensure that their wards get to school before 7:30am everyday. Coming to school when lectures have commenced is greatly detested by the management and attracts a severe sanction.
- CODES OF CONDUCT: Students must abide by the school’s rules and regulations which they attested to on admission. The school frowns at any form of insubordination, tardiness and violence especially BULLYING. Non conforming students shall face the consequences of their actions. Also, Parents should adhere to the school’s visiting hours to avoid distraction in class. Visiting hours are from 11:10am-11:30am daily. More so, Parents are implored to keep Sick pupils at home to avoid emergencies.
- ATTITUDE TO SCHOOL WORK: Parents should be more involved in their children’s school work. This will keep parents abreast with their wards’ performances. If necessary, they should meet the school at intervals to track their children’s progress.
- MIDTERM BREAK is scheduled for 11th Thursday – 12th Friday, June 2026
OPEN DAY will hold on Tuesday, 16th June, 2026
School will close on Wednesday, 29th July, 2026 - TUITION FEES: The recent economic changes, including the removal of subsidies and sky rocketing of prices has necessitated the need for a slight increase in school fees for the upcoming Academic session. This review is necessary to sustain the high quality of Education we provide. We appreciate your understanding and support during this time of change. Please feel free to contact our administrative office if you have any questions or concern. Thank you for your cooperation.
Parents should ensure that 3rd term fees are paid on or before 27th of April, 2026. The school does not take pleasure in sending students out of class for owing fees. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to pay the tuition fees of their children early.
All outstanding school fees must be paid before resumption to avoid your ward being sent away from school. All payments should be made into the school account: (ACCOUNT NAME: HIGHER HEIGHT COLLEGE, ACCOUNT NO: 2027890327 First Bank).
Note: that the school has P.O.S facility, so parents can bring their ATM cards along. - BRINGING DEVICES/EXPLOSIVES TO SCHOOL: Students should not bring phones, laptops and palm tops to school. These devices, if found, will be seized. In addition, CDs, explosives or fireworks such as knockouts, bangers are contraband. Any student found with such will be summarily EXPELLED.
- ENTRANCE PERMIT CARD: Students will be issued an Entrance Permit Card with which they can gain
access into the school premises starting from 27th April, 2026. Entrance Permit Card will be issued to only students who have paid 50% of the fees on or before 8th of May, 2026. No Card No Entry. - EXAMINATION PASS CARD: The school will continue to issue a Pass Card to students before the
commencement of any test/examination. Students who do not have the pass will not be allowed to
participate in the examination. The criteria for issuance of the pass remains the complete payment of
school fees. - VALEDICTORY AND END OF YEAR PARTY FEES: S.S.S 3 students are to pay the sum #35,000, comprising 5,000 for testimonial and #30,000 for the valedictory and end of the year party. The deadline for the payment is 13 th June, 2026.
- END OF YEAR PARTY FEES INFORMATION: Students in other classes (JSS1 – SS2) are required to pay 3,000 each for refreshments.
- POST NECO – BECE NOTICE: Students are to remain at home after their completion of their NECO &
BECE EXAMINATION till 29 th of June, 2026 - INTRODUCING ON THE SCORE CARD – CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT: This subject is designed to access and improve the overall behaviour of students in the following areas:
PRO SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR : Helping peers participating in activities ( showing kindness and compassion to others classmates) – 10mrks
CONSISTENT ETHICAL ACTIONS: (Showing respect to teachers, parents, elders and other learners) 20mrks
TAKING RESPONSIBILITIES: (Compliance with the use of I.D Card, Proper dressing, Neatness of class,
school compounds and vernacular speaking and punctuality) 10mrks
COMPLETING TASK: (Completing classwork, completing notes, completing projects, completing
assignments) 10mrks
REDUCED NEGATIVE BEHAVIOUR: (Bullying, Fighting, Stealing, Playing pranks, Examination malpractice, using abusive language ) -30mrks
PARTIPATION IN COMMUNITY SERVICE AND ASSEMBLY ( Assembly Participation and class presentation) – 10mrks
